LOS LUNAS — The Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts is presenting the eighth annual Adult Juried Art Show.

The show will run from Nov. 14, through Jan. 9, 2021. It’s open to artists 18 years of age or older residing in the state of New Mexico.

Submissions are currently being accepted. The deadline for entries are Friday, Oct. 23. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be an opening reception.

Entries must be original works and may be any medium (e.g. acrylic, oil, pastel, water color, pen and ink, photography, ceramics, fibers and mixed media) that portrays the specified theme. Abstract and non-representational works are welcome; however, works must be with the specified theme, “Celebrations of New Mexico.”

Artists may enter up to three works to be juried. Submission fees are $20 per entry or $50 for three works.

Artists may submit digital or printed entries via mail, email or in person. If submitting printed versions of artwork, include with them artist and title information on a separate piece of paper to keep your work anonymous for jurors. If submitting digital versions of artwork, acceptable files include PDF, jpg, tiff or MSWORD files.

Name digital files in the following way: (Name, Title). Label storage devices with your name and name of artwork, plus medium used.

For questions, comments or concerns, contact Jan Micaletti at [email protected] or 352-7720, or Rebecca Ortiz at [email protected] or 352-7715.
