In 1983, his only daughter, Angela, was born and who he loved dearly. In 1998, became a grandfather and eventually to a total of five grandchildren, who he loved to joke around with. While in California, he had the time of his life meeting tons of new people and embarked on numerous adventures in his life.

He was always smiling and ready to tell a joke. He was full of life and loved to talk to anyone he came across in his lifetime.
