Colleen Marie McGrath Ingram

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Colleen Marie McGrath Ingram on April 6, 2024, at her home in Mesa, Ariz.  

Colleen was born in Belen on Dec. 21, 1950, to Emmett and Annis McGrath.  

Colleen is survived by her beloved daughter, Lorie and husband, Alan; her two granddaughters, Caitlin and Kiera, of Amarillo, Texas; and her sister Nelda Creager, of Mesa, Ariz.; Nelda’s two daughters, Michelle and Jennifer and husband, Roger.  

Her extended family includes three great-nieces and four great-nephews, as well as a great grandniece and great grandnephew.  

Colleen attended Belen High School, graduating in 1968. She continued her education at Eastern New Mexico University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in computer science.  

Colleen was employed at Public Service Company of New Mexico for 25 years as a member of the Information Technology Division. Her dedication, exceptional expertise and hard work were evident to her colleagues.  

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Colleen had a passion for travel and exploration. She and her husband, Everett Ingram, embarked on adventures around the globe, visiting many countries. Colleen loved cruising the open seas and the sound of waves crashing against the shore. Her travels brought her immense joy and tranquility, serving as a reminder of the beauty and vastness of the world.  

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to your local animal shelter in Colleen’s memory.
