Clemente Artiaga

Clemente Artiaga, age 89, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away at his home on June 21, 2023.

He was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church. “Clem,” as he was known to family and friends, was a plumber for 35 years at the Los Lunas Hospital and Training School. He loved to hunt, fish, horseback ride and work at his ranch.

Above all, he was very proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Prescilla; his parents, Sophia and Felix Artiaga; his sister, Irene Artiaga and brother, Antonio Artiaga.

He is survived by his daughter, Cathy Artiaga Trei; sons, Clem Jr., (Debbie), Lawrence (Liz) and Eric; grandchildren, Clem III, Teri (Chris) Marquez, Amber Noel, Timothy, Anthony, Antoinette (Frank), Amber (AJ); great grandchildren, Haley, Celio Felix, Avah, Gabriel, Ambre, Ezkiel, Alyiah, Mathias, Abriella, Nadia and Natasha (Jake); sisters and brother-in-law, Eileen Blea, Rose (Tim) Sanchez, Mabel Edmunds; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will take place beginning with a visitation at 9 a.m., Monday, July 10, at San Clemente Catholic Church.
