Albuquerque — Get ready for the hard stuff!

The first ever Jägermeister Music Tour is coming to Albuquerque on Saturday, April 13. The show features platinum-recording artists Drown-ing Pool, along with Coal Chamber, Ill Niño, and more.

Jägermeister Music Tour tickets will go on sale Saturday, March 2, at 10:00 a.m. The show is presented by 104.7 The Edge.

The Jägermeister Music Tour will be an all-out, head-banging salute to rock, featuring the most exciting acts in the hard rock arena, a news release said.

The breakout act of 2001’s OZZfest, Dallas’ Drowning Pool, which sold more than one million copies of their debut album within six weeks of release, will headline. “Bodies,” one of the most-played metal songs of last year, established Drowning Pool as the most prominent new rock band to emerge in recent memory, as the song became nothing short of an anthem.

Coal Chamber has just finished recording their highly anticipated third album, “Dark Days,” to be released this spring. The band is ready to unleash their musical fury live. Ill Niño truly has a sound of its own, a collision of intense metal to Flamenco guitars and Calypso rhythms featuring congas and timbales. The band’s emotionally charged show packed with non-stop energy has been capturing audiences all across the US.

Tickets are priced at $21 and are subject to convenience/handling fees. Tickets can be bought online through CC.com or charged by phone at 505-883-7800 or purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet.
