Emma Tafoya
Emma Tafoya, age 91, a resident of Belen, passed away on March 1, 2024, surrounded by her daughter, Mildred, and son, John Rey.
Services will take place on Thursday, March 14, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, beginning with a visitation at 9 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
She was born on May 16, 1932, to Jacobo and Pilar Garcia.
Emma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ross; and her son, Jacob (Jake); and her parents and four sisters.
She is survived by her children, Mildred (Leonard) and John Rey (Karla); and daughter-in-law, Lee; her grandchildren, Edward (Vanessa), Mario, Katherine (Joshua), Denise (Justin), Miles (Keilah), Rebecca and Christopher (Katelyn); and her great-grandchildren, Colin, Nicholas, Kerra, Landon, Kyler, Heaven, Derek, Tyler, Edward Jr., Brian, Seven, Adrik, Zenaya, Ramzi, Anastasia and Esmeralda.
