Frank Lopez Jr.
Frank Lopez Jr., age 73, a resident of Belen, joined our Lord and Savior on March 24, 2023.
Services will be held on Monday, April 17, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church beginning with a visitation at 9 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10 a.m., and a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, and worked for Belen Consolidated Schools. Frank’s favorite job was working at Frank Lopez Trucking (FLT), where he worked side by side with his boss and eldest son, Frank Lopez III.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Victoria Garcia Lopez; brother, Michael Lopez; sisters, Rachel Savantes and Mary Garcia; father-in-law, Gregorio Sanchez; and mother-in-law, Ida Sanchez.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ymelda Lopez; loving children, Frank III (Cristina), Aaron (Liz Cook) and Eric Lopez (Susan); brothers, Fermin (Angie), Lawrence (Jerri), Bobby, Steve (Barbara), Daniel Lopez, and Alex and Leroy Montano (Jennifer); sisters, Marilyn Silva, Lillian Lopez and Raffie Cruz; grandchildren, Dakota, Austin, Johnathon, Brittany and Dallas; eight great-grandchildren, dear friend, Gertrude Paradise; and many nephews, nieces and cousins, whom he loved very much.
The urn bearer will be Frank Lopez III. Honorary urn bearers will be Aaron and Eric Lopez, and Frank’s grandchildren.
