He was born in 1942 to Feliciano and Virginia Serna.
Gabriel is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Roberta; siblings, Gabriel Sr., Jessie, Alfonso, Henry and Eloy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marylee Serna; sons, Bryan (Arlene) and Nolan Serna, Charles (Tennille) and Joel Barra; grandchildren, Ryan, Zaylei, Mickayla and Noah Serna, and Brittany and Michael Barra; great-grandchildren, Eamr and Ocean Serna, Mariana, Andrew and Charlie Barra; and sister, Mary Ramirez.
