NOTICE OF ADOPTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Belen held a public hearing during the Regular City Council Meeting that was held on Monday, January 3, 2022 in the Belen City Hall Council Chambers, 100 South Main St., Belen, NM, 87002, in reference to the adoption of Ordinance #2022-01 titled and described as:

SPECIAL USE OVER-LAY ZONING:
Rancho Ciello Master Plan: proposed to construct, operate, and maintain the Sky Ranch Solar Project (Project), a proposed photovoltaic (PV) solar power generation facility with a battery energy storage system (BESS) located in the City of Belen, Valencia County, New Mexico. The Project would be located on approximately 2,057.9 acres of privately owned land (Project site) consisting of parts of:

• Township 6 North, Range 1 East, Section 1 (parcel 1006036264264000000);

• Township 6 North, Range 2 East, Section 6 (parcel 1007036073431000000);

• Township 6 North, Range 1 East, Section 12 (parcels 1006035219282000000 and 1006035297099000000); and

• Township 6 North, Range 1 East, Section 11 (parcels 1005035165331000000, 1005035429495000000, 1005035495363000000, 1005035429363000000, 1005035462231000000, 1005035363231000000, 1005035495099000001, 1005035462099000000, 1005035330066000001, 100503547703000002, 1005035510048000001, 1005035499015000000, 100505035297231, 1005035330165000000, 1005035462165000000, and

1005035048033000000).

The City of Belen Governing Body approved and adopted the above referenced, Ordinance #2022-01. A copy of the full Ordinance may be reviewed at the office of the City Clerk located at 100 South Main St. Belen, NM 87002.

This Ordinance shall become effective five days after publication.
