Adelino

Tamara Long-Archuleta and Richard Moores have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Cindy Long of Adelino. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She is a first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, where she is a pilot of JJ-60G, Pavehawk, Combat Search and Rescue helicopters.

Her fiance is the son of Richard and Dodi Moores of Evergreen, Colo. He is a 2000 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering. He is a first lieutenant in the Air Force and flies HC-130 Kingbirds.

The two are stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdesta, Ga., along with Tamara’s 3-year-old son, Donaciano.

A June wedding is planned next year at the U.S. Air force Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colo.
