Veterans Day
The annual Veterans Day ceremony will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 11, at Daniel Fernandez Memorial Park in Los Lunas. There will be fellowship and food.
Refreshments will be served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Belen Veterans Memorial at Eagle Park in Belen.
Chalk on the Sidewalk
The First United Methodist Church, 75 Manzano Expressway in Rio Communities, will hold its first Chalk on the Sidewalk art project on Saturday, Nov. 13, during its Holiday Arts and Crafts Festival. There is an opportunity for a limited number of artists to create a “painting” in chalk pastels under the portico. Berlie’s Christmas Bazaar
Berilie’s Christmas Bazaar, sponsored by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Our Lady of Belen No. 1359, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 13-14, at Our Lady of Belen Parish Hall, 101 10th St., Belen. Full Moon Trail Hike in Los Lunas
The village of Los Lunas Recreation Division is hosting a Full Moon Trail Hike at 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19, at El Cerro de Los Lunas Trailhead. This is a two-mile guided or unguided hike/run. There will be free refreshments afterward, and several giveaways. For information, call 505-352-7662.
Holiday Bazaar
The 42nd Holiday Bazaar at Peralta Methodist Church, 25 Wesley Road in Peralta, will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20. The Crafty Ladies create and make all the items that are sold at the Bazaar, which include a variety of holiday decor such as wreaths, garlands, ornaments as well as everyday home decor items. Passion Play rehearsals
The Passion Play will return for a 2022 Easter Season. Come be part of the team of cast and/or crew. Rehearsals begin at 2 p.m., Jan. 9, at the Don Jose Dolores Cordova Cultural Center (old Jarales school), now the Jarales Community Center at 426 Jarales Road.
