Home Run Derby

The Los Lunas Recreation Division will hold a Home Run Derby on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the Los Lunas Sports Complex. There will be 12 hitters per division — fastpitch softball, slowpitch softball, youth baseball and high school baseball.

Flag football

The city of Belen’s Parks and Recreation will host a boys and girls flag football league. The league is for children ages 6-12, and the cost is $65. The deadline to register is Sept. 9. For information, contact Shawn Ammons at 505-966-2703.

Los Lunas Dance

The village of Los Lunas is offering new dance classes in beginning tumbling and pre-ballet for ages 3 years old and older from 5:15-6:15 p.m. on Mondays. Registration is now open. Youth volleyball league

The city of Belen’s Parks and Recreation will host a youth volleyball league for children in the first through sixth grades. The league starts on Sept. 20, and the registration deadline is Sept. 9. The cost is $45 per person. For information, contact Shawn Ammons at 505-966-2703.

Sports equipment swap meet

A sports equipment swap meet will be held from 10 a.m. until noon, Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Daniel Fernandez Recreation Center. It is a chance to clear out the garage of any unused sports gear. This is an opportunity to either sell, trade or donate items. For more information, visit loslunasnm.gov, or call 505-352-7662 to reserve a table.

Co-ed softball

The village of Los Lunas will have a co-ed softball league with games beginning Sept. 21. Registration ends Thursday, Sept. 15. Games will be held on Wednesday nights at the Los Lunas Sports Complex. The cost is $300 per team. Must be 18 years old to participate. Register online at loslunasnm.gov.

Men’s softball

Women’s golf 2022 season
