Tierra Del Sol Women’s Golf Association

The Women’s Golf Association has begun its 2021 season. The ladies play each Wednesday and Saturday of the month.

In addition to regular play days, there are a variety of tournaments scheduled throughout the season.

Los Lunas Outdoor Adventures

Los Lunas recreation has opened registration for this summer’s outdoor adventures sessions.

Outdoor adventures will run Monday-Thursday and two sessions are being offered, one in June and one in July.

The June session will begin on June 24. The cost for each session is $35 and is limited to 20 participants.

Route 66 Dance

Registration for the village of Los Lunas Route 66 Dance is now open. Classes began April 5 in jazz, ballet, hip hop and tumbling. The cost is $25 per month.

Belen summer recreation

Registration is open for the city of Belen’s summer recreation program. Open to children ages 5 – 13 at a cost of $150 per session.

Session one runs from June 14 – July 2 and session two runs from July 12 – July 30. Call 966-2700 for more information.

 

Belen and Los Lunas Pop Warner opens registration

Registration is open for the fall season of both Belen and Los Lunas Pop Warner, for both football players and cheerleaders.

Registration is open to all ages 5-12 and ages 5-14 for cheer. Those who register early will receive a discount and there is also a family discount available.

The cost for both football players and cheerleaders, with the discount, is $175 with a $20 deposit. The regular price is $200.

Los Lunas men’s basketball league

Registration is open for the Los Lunas recreation department’s adult men’s basketball league, which will begin on June 20.

The cost is $300 per team and games will be played on Sundays.

Participants must be at least 18 years old. Teams will play a ten game regular season to be followed by a tournament.

All games will take place at the gym at Daniel Fernandez Park.

 

Los Lunas youth volleyball

Los Lunas recreation will be putting on  both a fundamental and a competitive youth volleyball league, and registration is open for both.

The season will start on July 5 and the cost is $30 per child.

Leagues are open to children between the ages of 8 and 13.

Games will be played at the gym at Daniel Fernandez Park.

 

Belen Natatorium swimming lessons

Registration for summer swim lessons at the Belen Natatorium will open on Monday, June 14 during morning hours.

Session one will begin on Monday, June 21. Lessons run Monday through Thursday and are 30 minutes long. The cost is $30 per student.

Three beginner lessons, for those at least 5-years-old, will be offered as well as one intermediate and one parent and tot session for those with children between the ages of 1-4.
