Priscilla V. Silva

Priscilla V. Silva, age 96, a resident of Tomé-Adelino, in Valencia County, passed away peacefully in her home on Sept. 26, 2023, in the company of her immediate family.  

Services will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 10, beginning with a visitation at 10:30 a.m., and a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomé. Interment will follow at Tomé Catholic Cemetery.  

She is survived by her son, Michael Silva; daughters, Stella Silva Gabaldon, Lou Silva Trujillo and Judy Silva Romero; sons-in-law, Jerry Trujillo and Leo Romero; daughter-in-law, Ana Silva; grandsons, Rob Gabaldon, Eloy Ivan Trujillo, Michael Silva Jr. and Daniel Garcia; granddaughters, Carol Trujillo and Nickole Garcia; great-granddaughters, Sofia Trujillo Saavedra, Olivia Elena Saavedra, Maddison Silva, Juliet Silva, Snowlily Sophia Garcia and Morningstar Alaina Garcia; sister, Celina (Sally) Gofberg; and many nephews and nieces.  

Pricilla is preceded in death by her parents, Julian Vallejos and Mercedes Chavez Vallejos; loving husband, Jose Procopio Jr.; daughter, Janice Renee Silva; brothers, Manfor, Filimon (File) and Anastacio (Tacho) Vallejos; and sister, Carmelita Baca. 

Priscilla was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomé. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, with a fierce work ethic and deep sense of faith.  

Urn bearers will be Daniel Garcia, Nickole Garcia, Michael Silva Jr., Eloy Ivan Trujillo, and Rob Gabaldon.  

A warm and gracious appreciation is extended to Olivia Hernandez, Dr. Joe Aragon, Beth, her nurse from hospice, and the staff at Ambercare for the loving care, kindness and love given to her in her final months of life.
