San Diego State University, the men’s basketball national runner-up in 2023, is the latest program to offer a scholarship to Jalin Holland, the Los Lunas High School standout.

According to a source close to Holland, Aztecs’ coach Brian Dutcher recently made the offer to Holland, the 6-foot, 4-inch All-State guard.

Holland, who will be a junior for the Tigers, has now received formal scholarship bids from seven schools, including from the University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University. He has also been contacted by USC, LSU and Colorado, among others.

The SDSU scholarship offer came after a team camp in Phoenix, Ariz., in which Holland averaged more than 32 points per game for Los Lunas.

San Diego State is in the Mountain West Conference.

Holland is also ranked 94th overall among recruits in the class of 2025 by 247sports, which has listed Holland as a four star recruit and the 14th best shooting guard in his class.
