According to a recent press release from Crime Stoppers, a home near Rio Communities was burglarized two days in a row earlier this month.

At about 3:22 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, Valencia County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a residential burglary in progress. Footage from a home security system shows two men forcibly enter the home while armed with firearms.

A dark blue or black extended-cab Chevrolet Silverado pick up — unknown plate number — was seen leaving the residence following the burglary.

The next day, at about 1:17 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5, deputies responded to the same home for a all about a suspicious person.

Deputies saw a Ford pick up truck pulling a horse trailer drive up to the residence. A man wearing a yellow jacket holding a firearm forcibly enters the residence through a window.

During the burglaries, several firearms were stolen.

Anyone with information on these two cases is asked to contact the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office at 505-866-2400, or Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 505-843-STOP (7867) or P3tips.com/531.

Tipsters could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
