Los Lunas football standout Jason Ussery signed to play at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.  

“It was always something I wanted to do,” Ussery said about playing college football. “I met the coaches at the Duke camp this summer. We just kept in touch.”   

Ussery expects to play safety for the Bison, out of the Patriot League.  

“I wanted to go to the east coast for college. It fit really well.”  

Animal science will be Ussery’s major as he pursues a career in zoology.  

“That’s the goal,” he said. “I’m just excited for the opportunity, thankful for it.”
