Natalie Madrid pitched and hit Los Lunas (3-1) to a five inning, 11-1 softball victory Tuesday over Valencia (1-4) at LLHS. Madrid tossed a no-hitter, struck out seven VHS batters and blasted a two-run homer.

Madrid and Brooke Baca, who had a pair of doubles, each had three RBIs. Valencia scored an unearned run in the first inning when Cambria Garley crossed the plate. LLHS goes for a third straight victory Thursday at home against Silver. VHS continues its difficult schedule March 28-30 in the Rio Rancho tournament. On Saturday, Belen (5-5) hosts Las Cruces in a double-header at noon.
