Wanda Louise Truman

1960-2023

Wanda Louise Truman

Wanda Louise Truman, age 62, was a loving mother and grandmother. She passed away in her home surrounded by family on March 23, 2023, after her courageous battle with lung and brain cancer.

Louise was born in Clayton, N.M., Aug. 2, 1960, and her family moved to Los Lunas in 1972. Louise was big in the rodeo community and enjoyed showing her animals and being part of the Bosque Farms Rodeo queen contest and the Roadrunner’s riding club.

She was known for her love of music, dancing and traveling. Louise was an active and caring woman, who spent most of her life thinking about others. She looked forward to being with family and friends at parties and special events. Louise loved listening and dancing to country western music and could often been found singing around the bonfire. She cherished attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, band competitions, marching band and much more.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Lester Riley Paris and Wanda Paris (Barber); and beloved sister, Lois Juarros.

She is survived by her two brothers, Riley Paris and wife, Lucy, and George Paris and wife, Elaine; daughter, Jenniffer Turner; sons, Arron Truman and Dylan Truman and wife, Chrystal; three grandchildren, Bryce and Kaylee Turner and LeAnn Truman.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 21, at the Bosque Farms Arena building. The family hopes you can join us for a luncheon and an afternoon of sharing memories.
