The New Mexico Department of Health and the Public Education Department recently announced a partnership with local pharmacies to provide back-to-school COVID-19 vaccinations for students 12 years and older.

Participating pharmacies have committed to giving free COVID-19 vaccines without appointments until Aug. 15.

Parents are encouraged to have their child’s confirmation code from the DOH portal — vaccineNM.org — ready when they arrive at a pharmacy. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccine, please visit cv.nmhealth.org.
