Brian C. Alexander

1976-2023

Brian C. Alexander

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Brian C. Alexander, who passed away Dec. 9, 2023, in Albuquerque.

Brian is survived by his parents, Phil and Wanda Alexander, of Bosque Farms; sisters, Denise Alexander (Robert Coonrod), of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Marcy Aquilar (Tony, Madison, Acen, and Alex), of Albuquerque; and aunt, Nelda Spradlin of Show Low, Ariz.

Brian was born in Albuquerque and resided in this area his entire life. Brian graduated from La Cueva High School, where he was a starting member of La Cueva’s first football state championship team. He graduated from University of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s of Science in psychology with a minor in criminology.

After college, Brian worked for State Farm Insurance Co. as a claims adjuster for several years before becoming a State Farm insurance agent in Los Lunas. Becoming a State Farm insurance agent was a lifelong goal of Brian’s.

A few of the favorite things that Brian enjoyed was farming with his father, country dancing and his “small” farm in Los Chavez. Brian often sought solace in the beautiful New Mexico sunsets. Brian’s great smile, sense of humor and quick wit will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace, Brian.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 16, at Daniels Family Funeral Services in Albuquerque. Interment followed at  Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.
