Felix Trujillo

1927-2023

Felix Trujillo

Felix Trujillo, age 96, a resident of Belen, passed away peacefully on Sept. 8, 2023.

Felix was known as “The Million Dollar Man,” and even had his picture printed on Million Dollar Bills that he’d hand out around town to remind people just who he was!

After his service in WWII, Felix resided in Albuquerque. He went on to retire from his career as an electrical engineer for PNM. During the 1980s, Felix and his wife lived together on their ranch in Belen, where they had the most beautiful plum orchard. He loved the ranch and all the family history that resided in his hometown.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Delora Duran Trujillo; second wife, JoAnn Trujillo; daughter, Gail Ulate; stepdaughters, Alice and Cindy; parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents and son-in-law, Eugene Sanchez.

Felix is survived by his devoted and loving daughter, Eunice Sanchez; grandson, Jason Sanchez and girlfriend, Danielle with a great-grandbaby on the way; and newly-adopted daughter, in friendship, Tina Tannoya.

There will be no services held for Felix at this time.

Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., 505-864-4448, where an online guest register is available at noblin.com.
