Surrounded by his coaches, Valencia’s Andrew Rightley signed to play football at New Mexico Highlands University.

Valencia’s Andrew Rightley has committed to play football at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas. Rightley, a second team 4A All-State center, said NMHU coaches “made you feel like it’s a family, right off the bat.”

Rightley said the staff “loved my work ethic — they were saying I’m not afraid to hit someone, which I’m not. That’s why I’m an offensive lineman.”

Rightley will study exercise science with plans to be an athletic trainer.
