JoAnn Chavez, 61, the greatest daughter, sister, wife and auntie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.
JoAnn was born March 20, 1962, at Belen General Hospital to Arnold Chavez and Juanita Chavez. JoAnn was the most kind and caring person you could meet.
She loved everyone she met, and always saw the good in everyone. The love she had for her family was immeasurable.
She led a very quiet life with her husband, Robert, and the love of her life, who proceeds her in death. Also proceeding her in death is her biological father, Arnold Chavez; her dad, Faustin Chavez; nephew, Ronnie Lynn; and brother-in-law, Greg Romero.
She is survived by her mother, Juanita Chavez; sisters, Alicia Lynn, Bernadette Chavez (Joe Meza) and Elizabeth Chavez; brother, Gabriel Chavez; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services for JoAnn were held on Monday, Dec. 11.
