Joseph Bradley Birch, age 55, a resident of Los Chavez, lost his battle to cancer on Dec. 4, 2023. 

Joe is survived by his wife, Annie, of 32 years; his three children, Monique, Frankie and Casey; nine grandchildren, Savanna, Ashlee, Anthony (Bobo), Nevaeh, Santos, Landen, Jeremiah, Tyler and Breanna; two great-grandchildren, Noel and Josiah; his mother and stepfather, Linda and Ron Hudson; sister, Jennifer; and brother, Gentry. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Bradley R. Birch. 

Joe was born in Great Falls, Mont., raised in southern Texas, and was a longtime resident of New Mexico. 

Joe was well known and loved in his community, where he ran a home appliance business. Many would recognize him as a cowboy with his hat, sunglasses, boots and Ford truck but, to his family, he was known as Papa. 

Joe enjoyed watching football, and would root for his team, the Philadelphia Eagles. He loved to cook, drink beer, listen to music and share many life stories.
