After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Albuquerque, and later his master’s degree in education from the University of New Mexico, Kenneth (Mr. Romero) enjoyed a 30-year career with the Albuquerque Public Schools teaching fifth grade at Marie M. Kenneth was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, teacher and friend. He and his wife enjoyed camping, fishing, yard work, going to the casinos and traveling to Laughlin, Las Vegas and Reno. He also liked his Sunday drives to the mountains with his wife.

Kenneth and Maryann always made unannounced visitors feel welcomed to their home. They used to say “Ya te vas?  Pues que tanto apuro!”

Now it is us wishing he could have stayed longer. Kenneth will dearly be missed by all who knew him.

Maryann would like to give special thanks to Hospice/Ambercare Staff, Chaplin Joel and The Pallialine Care Team for the love and care they showed to Kenneth.
