Kenneth L. Trujillo 

1945-2023 

Kenneth L. Trujillo, age 77, a resident of Belen, passed away on Oct. 10, 2023.  

Services will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m. with a visitation, followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Monday, Oct. 23., with interment to follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.  

A reception will follow at 1 p.m. at Tierra Del Sol Golf Course.  

He is survived by his wife, three children, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers and many nieces and nephews.  

Kenneth was born Oct. 17, 1945, in Trinidad, Colo. to Henry and Della Griego Trujillo. He married Dorothy Trujillo in 1963, and had three children, Kenneth Jr., Kevin and Karen.  

Working for the railroad moved them to Belen in 1970. Ken was active in Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, loved fishing and was a very avid golfer. He made many friends along the way.  

Kenneth knew he made the right decision to move his family to a small town.
