Mary Stella Perea, 63, of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2023.

She was born on June 24, 1959, in Valencia. She went peacefully with the Lord, and will be greatly missed for her kindness and lovely smile.

Mary Stella graduated from Los Lunas High School in 1977.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Mark Perea.

She is survived by her parents, Carlos and Carmen Perea, of Los Lunas; one sister, Sylvia McElroy and husband, Clerence, of Albuquerque; husband, Ray Cadenas of 18 years; two nieces, Alexis Perea, of Albuquerque, and Hollie Viola and husband, Alex, of South Carolina; three nephews, Derek Perea and wife, Debbie; Damian Perea and wife, Kateri, and Bronson McElroy, of Albuquerque.

She is also survived by two great nieces and five great nephews, Noah, Sammy, Ezralieh, Neomiah, Kylo, Jaxin and Bailey; nine aunts, two uncles and many cousins.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, July 16, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 28 El Cerro Road, led by Pastor Robles.

Arrangements are being handled by Riverside Funeral Home, Los Lunas. A private burial is pending at a later date.
