Paul Leroy Chavez
Paul Leroy Chavez, 75, of Los Chavez, passed away after battling cancer.
He was a lover of old western shows, dancing and cookies. Paul was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, who retired from the NMDOT. He could be found around Los Lunas having coffee with his many friends and girlfriends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nica and Polo Chavez, of Albuquerque; and son, Cameron Chavez.
His visits, joking nature and encouragement will be dearly missed by his closest loved ones and friends, Amber and Drew Olsen, Joaquin and Natasha Chavez, Ariel and Alex Fenstermacher, Logan Chavez, Charles Olsen, Beau Olsen, Rhiannon Chavez, Ronan Chavez, Raya and Zoey Fenstermacher, Jill Chavez, Jerri Davis, Stanley and Lori Chavez, Darlene and Gilbert Sanchez, Brandi Sanchez, Jennifer Chavez-Miller, Conchie Halas, Angelina, Unie, Prudy, Maria and Tom. His humor and memories also live on in his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will not be a traditional service. A memorial breakfast will be held at a later date.
