Rene Corot Large, a resident of Winston, N.M., passed away Jan. 27, 2023. Rene was born in Renton, Washington, on Nov. 4, 1952.

Rene was a owner-operator of Alpha To Omega Alarm and Monitoring Services. She was also the owner-operator of the Coffee Jerk coffee espresso shop on the north end of AJ’s Restaurant on N.M. 314 and Courthouse Road in Los Lunas for many years. Later, opening in Winston, N.M. Serving a full menu and her espresso coffee and shakes, Rene became a big hit in the little town of Winston, N.M. Very successful in all of her and her husband, Jerry Large’s, businesses, Rene will truly be missed by all.

Rene is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Large; her son, Steven Grant; her father, Skip Barilleaux; and two brothers, Brian Barilleaux and Rodney Barilleaux. Rene is also survived by stepsister, Melissa Linden; and stepbrother, John Barilleaux.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church, 25, Wesley Road, Peralta. After the service, there will be food and a time for everyone to get together and talk at 9 Night Shade Court, Los Lunas.
