Richard Michael Dennis Aragon

1958-2022

Richard Michael Dennis Aragon, age 64, a lifelong resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Sept. 5, 2022.

All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Thursday, Sept. 15. There will be a visitation from 8:30-9:30 a.m., a Rosary at 9:30 a.m., with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

He loved hunting and fishing, and he found peace when surrounded by the beautiful New Mexico mountains, lakes and rivers. He raised three beautiful children, whom he especially loved. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend who always wanted to be there for the ones he cared about.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roldan and Carmen Aragon; brother, Charlie Aragon; and nephew, Joe Kenneth Trujillo.

Richard is survived by his children, RaeLynn and Mathew Leyba, Heather Switzer and Richard Aragon; his siblings, Delores Aragon, Juan and Edna Aragon, Lucia Atencio, Priscilla and Jim Armer, Ana and Kenny Trujillo, Mona and Rick Gonzales, Jennette and Gary Mahaffey, Maria and JJ Michael; many nieces and nephews; and close personal friends, Patricia and Marty Trujillo.

He was a very rare gem to all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
