A free meal is served from 5:30-6:30 p.m., or until the food runs out, every Wednesday. The church is typically able to offer a food box to take home after the meal, but it’s not guaranteed.

Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church

The pantry serves residents living in the Los Lunas Schools District, including the communities of Bosque Farms, Peralta, Tomé, Meadow Lake, El Cerro and Los Lunas. Food is distributed from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Mondays in the west annex building at the church.

St. Terese Calcutta Soup and Blessing Kitchen

Hot soup is served for free from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday.

St. Vincent de Paul Peralta

This SVDP serves residents in the communities of Meadow Lake, Bosque Farms and Isleta; east of the river to North El Cerro Loop, El Cerro Mission, north of El Cerro Mission Road. Food and utility assistance is available from 10-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Bring proof of address, such as a utility bill, and photo ID.

St. Vincent de Paul Tomé

Residents in Tomé and the surrounding communities can receive emergency food and utility assistance from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesdays, and from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturdays. They are able to help with all utilities except fire wood.

St. Vincent de Paul Veguita

Our Lady of Sorrows in La Joya

This pantry serves residents in the communities of La Joya, Contreras, Las Nutrias, Abeytas, Veguita and Bosque. Food is distributed at 10:30 a.m. on the third Monday of each month. Food is distributed by appointment only. Bring a utility bill and photo ID. Those needing utility assistance should call the church directly, 864-4461, to make a request.

The Free Store gives clothing and household items to families in need.

Hours: 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays (senior citizens), and 12-2 p.m., Tuesdays, (everyone); 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturdays, (everyone)
