It’s off to Eastern New Mexico University for Valencia goalkeeper Benjamin Smith, who has committed to the Greyhounds. Smith, who attends School of Dreams Academy, describes ENMU as “very affordable, a very friendly environment, a small school. All that I wanted in a school, and I didn’t have to leave the state.”

Smith, who calls himself “very competitive,” is excited to continue “doing what I love, playing soccer, while getting that degree.” Smith will study computer science and software engineering and hopes to work at Sandia Labs. “With that kind of degree, you can go anywhere.”
