William Craig Crow

Died 2023

William Craig Crow

William “Bill” Crow, 84, a resident of Belen, passed away on Oct. 6, 2023.

He was a member of Bethlehem Lodge 56, Jessamine Chapter #45, the Order of the Eastern Star, was Master of the Masonic Lodge and a past member of the Elks and Sunset Club of New Mexico.

He was a very hardworking man, having worked with AT&T for 30 years. Bill was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He and his wife, Linda, would often hold hands and in the mornings, he would bring her coffee. Some of their favorite memories together were of course their wedding, and a month long trip for the two of them in their fifth-wheel RV.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing and watching the Denver Broncos play. Bill liked to listen to country and gospel music, which he would often enjoy with Linda.

He was a great handyman, and an even greater jokester. He never struggled to make people laugh.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Velna Crow; sisters, Mavis Johnson, Merle Reale (Frank) and Barbara Mullins; brothers, Bud, Mavin Keith and Clinton Crow; and sister-in-law, Dottie Crow.

Bill is survived by his loving wife; daughters, Janel Clough (Tim), Holly Schaaf; son, Craig Crow (Kay); grandchildren, Lindsey Minutillo (Jeff), Nick Clough (Jessica), Nicole Eschenbach (Ryan), Craig Crow Jr. (Katherine) and Nick Schaaf (Nicole); great-grandchildren, Lyla, Lucas, Weston, Mabel, Milly and Kaiden; sisters, Ruth Meade, Marcia Stencel (Mel) and Sharon Crow; brothers-in-law, Jim (Sharon), Dave (Lori) and Dwight Crain (Traci); special friends, Gersh and Wava Ware; and many nieces and nephews.

Services for William will be held starting with a visitation at 9:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the First Baptist Church of Belen.

Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., 505-864-4448, where an online guest register is available at noblin.com.
