Christine Jean D’Arc D’Arcangeli

In loving memory of Christine Jean D’Arc D’Arcangeli, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who has departed to be with her loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Jan. 9, 2024, at the age of 88. Surrounded by the love of her devoted children, a celebration of Christine’s life will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Jan. 26, Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A visitation will be held at 9 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

Christine’s life was a tapestry of warmth, love and creativity. Christine, born on Feb. 27, 1935, in Saint Felicien, Quebec, Canada, was the beloved daughter of Marie and Joseph Lamontagne.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, and is survived by two siblings, leaving behind a legacy of family bonds. Her memory lives on through her four children, Pat D’Arcangeli (Rebecca), Nadia Lyon (Steve), Fernando D’Arcangeli and Caryn DiPaola (Paul). The impact of her love extends to her grandchildren, Tara Key (Brian), Christina D’Arcangeli, Candice D’Arcangeli (Kim), Tiffany Barlow (Christian), Bryana Sims (Nate), Evan Barela, Cameron D’Arcangeli, Kayla D’Arcangeli, Derek D’Arcangeli, Jessica Lyon, Kaitlynn D’Arcangeli and Seth Davis; and seven great-grandchildren.

Christine was a multi-talented and creative soul, finding joy in the art of painting. For 45 years, she dedicated her talents to her business, Ideal Draperies, where she crafted custom curtains and blinds, leaving a mark of her creativity in countless homes.

Additionally, she was a steadfast member of the St. John of the Cross Group, OCDS, for over 30 years, embodying her dedication to faith. Her love for Jesus was evident in her desire to share her faith, and she spent years teaching the youth at St. Mary’s Faith Formation.

May the memories of Christine Jean D’Arc D’Arcangeli bring comfort and solace during this time of loss.
