Jerry R. Jaramillo
Jerry R. Jaramillo, 81, of Littleton, Colo., passed away amidst family on the morning of Jan. 12, 2024.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nury; his three children, Marco, Tatiana and Rosina and their spouses; and seven grandchildren.
Born on June 16, 1942, in Belen, to Henry T. and Casiana Jaramillo, Jerry graduated from Belen High School in 1960, and earned his B.A. from the College of St. Joseph on the Rio Grande in Albuquerque in 1965. Upon graduation, Jerry joined the Peace Corps followed by a stint with USAID in Costa Rica from 1965-1970.
A long-time member of the Los Lunas business community, Jerry was an agent for State Farm Insurance from 1973-2017. He was also an active member of the Lobo Club, Sister Cities International and the Friendship Force International.
He leaves behind a legacy of service, entrepreneurship and a deep love of family. He will be missed.
