Zoeann Masingale

1952-2024

Zoeann Masingale

Zoeann Masingale, age 71, died on Jan. 20, 2024, at her home in Los Lunas after a courageous fight against dementia.

A resident of Los Lunas area since 1975, Zoeann was born on Nov. 18, 1952.

She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart, Eddie Masingale; daughter, Katrina Dutcher; and both parents, Bobby Warren and Ann Cunningham.

She was survived by her three children, Cody Masingale and his wife, Stacy Masingale, Bricena Aragon and her husband, Anthony Aragon, and Levi Masingale and his wife, Shannon Masingale.

Zoeann loved to do anything outside of the house. She loved traveling with friends and family. Her most memorable trip was when she went on a two-week trip with her church group to Jerusalem in 2017.

Zoeann was very involved with her church, Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley. If she wasn’t at home, you could always find her at the church. Her favorite time of year was during the summertime, so she could help with the kids at Vacation Bible School. She participated in everything she could and was known for her ability to offer a helping hand. She made so many great relationships through the church.

She’s always had animals, but her favorite were the horses. She raised her kids around horses and gained so much joy with her house being filled with rodeo kids.

No one was a stranger in Zoeann’s house. She would take in anyone who needed it and all the kids knew her as kind. She worked as a real estate agent for more than 10 years. Zoeann enjoyed being around the girls in the office and creating new friendships through her work. She always offered to do the things nobody else wanted to do, because she was a team player.

Her most proud accomplishment were her grandchildren. Zoeann had seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and loved them more than anyone else in her life. She took them to and from school, traveled across the world to visit, and cheered at every sports game they had. She was their biggest fan and loved them very much.

Zoeann had a bright and hopeful personality, and she touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.

Funeral services will be held at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley in Belen on Friday, Jan. 26. Visitation will start at 4 p.m., and the service will begin at 4:30 p.m. The reception will be held immediately after at the same location.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the Noblin Funeral Service staff.
