Steven A. Sanchez

1935-2024

Steven A. Sanchez

Steven A. Sanchez, age 64, a resident of Adelino, passed away at his home.

Services took place at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomé on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Sanchez and Trina B. Sanchez; and his brother, Richard Sanchez.

He is survived by his sisters, Anna Sanchez-Glenn (Ron), Rebecca Wolfe (Gary) and Juanita Lochner (Todd); and brothers, C.T. Sanchez and Robert Lee Sanchez. Steven was also survived by his beloved aunt, Mary; aunt, Fefa; aunt, Lou; and tia, Emelia; uncle, Anthony (Patsy); and uncle, Adelino Sanchez (Carol). He was also survived by many beloved cousins, nephews and nieces, especially Little Ben and Weston, who brought him great joy in his last year.

He was a mechanic who loved to fix things, especially anything Ford. Steven loved kids and they loved him. He enjoyed reading science, automotive and National Geographic magazines.

Steven often would help someone in need of a repair on their car or need of some groceries. Purder or Smurf, as most of his close friends would refer to him, will miss his “unique sense of humor” and everything as Steven would say “was old school.”
